During the autumn holidays I wrote a short jump ‘n run game called “return the colors”.
It’s written in C++ using SDL. I hope you like it

Yesterday a really nice guy called q23p sponsored me the domain http://bitowl.de with webspace on his server.
At the moment there’s just the normal homepage which has originally been at http://bitowl.bplaced.net, but maybe I’ll create a german blog there.

As you may know I’m working on multiplayer for Scribble Jump at the moment.
In one week I’ll have two weeks autumn holidays. In this time I will take a break from android-game development…
…and will develop another game
The game will be only written in this holidays and should be completed at the end. It’s part of a contest I have with some other schoolmates. The contest is about who develops the coolest, best looking and most fun game for the linux-computers in our school in just the time of this autumn holidays.
After the holidays I will get back to android development and continue multiplayer for ScribbleJump.

At the scenery beta competition the creators of the games had to explain their votes and so I at least got some feedback on Scribble Jump
The following quotes are from http://android.scenebeta.com/node/3529 and are free translated using google translator.

2. scribble-jump, there are many games likes this, like angry birds, but the game is still fun and entertaining and that’s important.

2. ScribbleJump.
2. ScribbleJump. It’s “just like” Doodle Jump. I can even say that it’s better! It’s free and the gameplay is a bit better. To be honest. I do not like the graphics. This is an aspect that could be improved. Other than that there should be “themes” like in Doodle Jump. Otherwise, great game.

2. ScribbleJump by bitowl: The possibility to use the accelerometer combined with a like handdrawn interface (something I think is great) makes it a more entertaining homebrew. I especially like the way it shows your current score and the scores that have been recorded. This touches a very high point of originality.

1. ScribbleJump – Good points, it’s fun, the graphics are fitting and it is difficult to program. Negative is that it’s not very original because it resembles Doodle Jump.
At the moment it seems like Scribble Jump will only get the third place, but that’s more than enough for me. (I’d rather appreciate more feedback
).
well. now I will get back to coding.

Hey guys,
at the moment I’m thinking about making a multiplayer mode where you can play Scribble Jump against your friends via bluetooth.
I want to know if you have got experiences with bluetooth or can tell me where I can find a good tutorial (maybe it’s enough to read through http://developer.android.com/guide/topics/wireless/bluetooth.html ?)
I hope you can help me
